E-Mobility
Climate Friendly Travels with Your Electric Vehicle
Best Western Hotels are making it easier to travel for electric car owners: More than a third of all Best Western hotels across Germany offer charging stations for electric and hybrid vehicles. In addition, a total of around 70 percent of all the group's hotels in the Central Europe region have an e-charging station within a maximum radius of five kilometers. Guests can thus conveniently charge their EV during their stay and continue their trip with a low carbon footprint.
Travelling Germany and Central Europe with the EV
More than a third of all Best Western hotels across Germany have installed charging stations for electric and hybrid cars, allowing guests to charge their low-emission vehicles directly in the hotel parking lot. In addition, around 70 percent of all hotels in the Central Europe region have e-charging stations no more than five kilometers from the hotel, so that travelers can recharge their e-cars during their stay. The hotels' commitment is creating a nationwide network of charging options, from which not only their own hotel guests benefit, as some of the e-charging stations are also available to the public. Electric car owners await special Tesla charging stations at Best Western Hotels, such as the Best Western Premier Hotel Villa Stokkum in Hanau, the Best Western Premier Seehotel Krautkrämer in Münster, the Best Western Hotel Bad Rappenau in Bad Rappenau, the Best Western Hotel Brunnenhof in Weibersbrunn and the Best Western Premier Hotel Victoria in Freiburg, the latter of which is considered one of the most environmentally friendly private hotels in the world. The hotels are thus listed in the Tesla navigation system and visible to all drivers while they are planning their route. "I am thrilled that we as a group have such a dense network of charging options for electric drivers, and the trend is increasing. Many of our hotels have recognized the e-mobility trend early on, offer guests this extra service and thus gain a competitive advantage over fellow market actors without charging stations," says Marcus Smola, CEO BWH Hotel Group Central Europe.
